This Sunday we continued our: The School of Life series and here we look at Job from man's perspective. The story of Job can be seen like a trial, where Job is interrogated by friends who argue religious wisdom without grace, and Job himself standing his ground and finds that his Redeemer lives!

This Sunday we kicked off our new series: The School of Life which will focus on the books of Job, Proverbs, and Ecclesiastes. In this message, Raphael looks at Job 1 and 2 to show that in our suffering we are to consider God's view as well as the human view.

Isaiah 61 is the passage that Jesus in Luke 4 opened, read and proclaimed it was fulfilled in him. In this sermon Pastor, Raphael goes over these promises and warnings. The glory of the gospel is that there is inexhaustible freedom found in Christ both for the lost and believers through the Spirit God has given. Indeed in Jesus we have incomparable salvation.

Isaiah 53 is the “Mount Everest” of the Bible, pointing back to God’s promise of the Messiah and forward to the fulfillment shown in Jesus Christ. Looking through Philip’s encounter with an Ethiopian official in Acts 8 shows why this passage of scripture is so important for us today, seeing Jesus as the Sovereign, Suffering Servant.

This week we continued in our series on Isaiah: Incomparable God and we looked at Isaiah 14 and emphasized that in the quest of seeing God clearly, the Christians greatest enemy is pride and his/her greatest friend is humility.

In this Third message Pastor, Raphael examines Romans 1:16-17 and Romans 16 and shows how the gospel is the power of God for making and maturing disciples and creating a community that will shine his glory. How then shall we live: as people united by the Gospel.
