Coming to the end of the letter, the author of Hebrews leaves us with roughly ten application points. Ranging from models for life, to marriage, to obeying leaders this list gives us all something to think about and then practically apply to our day to day lives.

Hebrews 12 encourages believers to endure through difficulties, because we’ve come to a Savior who is our only way to God

Hebrews 12:1 tells us to run the race set out for us. This week, we look at the story of Wang Mingdao, a man who did just that by always looking to Jesus.

In the famous chapter on faith, we find a succinct definition, an honor roll of faithful men and women in the old testament, and are told just how important faith is to God. But there is a deeper theme here of finding our way home that echoes one of the central stories of both Old and New Testaments. From the Garden of Eden, to the New Jerusalem, the journey to a home where we can be with God is our journey. And it means we are both pilgrims and exiles, and that means something for how we should live.

In chapter 10, Hebrews continues to explain how Jesus has transformed the old rituals, roles, and places of the Old Covenant. And it is based on those changes and the forgiveness that we now can experience through Christ that the author calls us to some points of application: that we should stir one another up, continue meeting together, draw near to God, and persevere no matter the trials. It is an important reminder, especially as we celebrate Easter.

希伯來書第十章繼續解釋耶穌如何改變了舊約的儀式、角色和場所。正是基於這些改變，以及我們現在藉著基督所經歷的赦免，作者呼籲我們應用這些改變：我們應該彼此激勵，持續聚會，親近神，並且無論遭遇什麼試煉都要堅忍不拔。這是一個重要的提醒，尤其是在我們慶祝復活節之際。

Jesus Christ, as the anchor of our soul to God, will come again to save those who eagerly await the coming of our great high priest.

Here Hebrews expands on the idea of Jesus as the new and greater high priest who brings a better covenant. In explaining this, Hebrews speaks to the priesthood and the temple as a "shadow and copy". This is important for us as we come to understand that the new covenant completes what was pointed toward in the old. 

希伯來書在這一章更進一步地說明，為什麼耶穌是更偉大的大祭司，以及他所帶來更好的約。並說明舊約的祭司職分及聖所其實只是縮影和複製。這對我們來說很重要，因為我們開始明白新約完成了舊約所說的。

In Hebrews 7, we are told how Jesus, coming from outside the tribe of Levi, still can be a priest. And he is in fact a better one, because he is eternal and perfect. Forever before God's throne, Jesus blesses us, intercedes for us, and himself was the complete and final sacrifice. 

希伯來書第七章告訴我們，即便耶穌不是利未人的後代，他仍可以成為祭司。而且因著耶穌是永遠並完全的，他甚至是更好的祭司。在神的寶座前，耶穌永遠為我們祝福、代求，耶穌自己就是完全並最終的獻祭。

A warning and a promise. The author of Hebrews warns us to not harden our hearts to God so that we may inherit the promise secured for us by our great High Priest Jesus Christ.
