This is week 3 in our series Living My Blessed Life. When it comes to generosity there is different levels and steps to becoming more generous. Generous people don't see everything that comes to them is for them. Pastor Jack challenges us what it would looks like to take another step, go to the next level in living a blessed life.

The single biggest barrier that stands between you and truly living the blessed life is worry. Worry causes us to think irrationally and gets us in a cycle thats keeps us from living the blessed life. Scripture teaches us against worry, but why do we still do it? Pastor Jack unpacks different mindsets that worry causes, and challenges us to making steps to break the cycle and live the blessed life.

There is a big difference between giving and generosity. And generosity is more than random acts of giving, or serving one time or letting a friend borrow something once. A generous heart comes from recognizing how God has been generous to us. Jesus Himself said it’s better to give than receive. Pastor Jack unpacks myths of generosity and calls us to deeper understanding of what it means to live generous life and live a blessed life.

Did you know that our attitudes towards God and work are connected? We love worshipping God on Sunday and let our light shine, but once we get back to work on Monday we can often turn it off. In scripture it clearly calls that we are meant to treat what we do, "our work" as worship.

It's so easy to worship God and give him thanks and praise when life is going great! But what about when life gives us twist and turns we weren't expecting and gets difficult. How do we worship God in those moments? Chad Vandenburg one of the elders here at Cityline church teaches on how we can do that through life's difficult circumstances. Chad was working in 2016 for the Lakewood Sheriff's Department and was shot in the line of duty and teaches practical steps on how to worship through difficult seasons.

What weapons do you use to attack your problems? Do you handle drama with weapons of this world like anger or our words to lash back? In week 3 of our series on Worship titled Overflow, Pastor Jack teaches that we can use Worship as a weapon and practical ways to make worship our response.
