In today's episode, we provide an update on the recent development re the new downtown library. And then we head into a few more musings including - what's the latest regarding candidate races. And well....crickets...mostly.
In the podcast version, Part 2 has a tiny 'extended' discussion not heard on the radio version - re cellular coverage in Saskatchewan. We ran long so edited for the radio version.

Hello Dear Listeners,
Last week - was really one of those weeks. Historic from an outside looking in kind of way. Christina and I go into a discussion about what happened at the end of the Spring Session at the Legislative Assembly in Saskatchewan.
I caveat this episode by saying... we can only provide some thoughts/opinions and outside observations on what happened in terms of what went down in the legislative assembly - from what it looked like from our limited view. We leave it to each of you for further discernment and reflection about the state of our Legislative Assembly these days.
We then pivot in Part 2 toward the state of things in our city - and the current mayor's final words as Mayor, at a fireside chat with the CEO of the Saskatoon Chamber; and end with a very quick smattering of other stories.
Have a good rest of the week.
Sorry this show was posted late. Try to get them out the evening these shows first air on CFCR.

Thanks for tuning in, Dear Listeners,
We go to the boards...okay a poor hockey analogy...go Canadian teams (why must they compete to be 1?)...on safety, and what the stats suggest, what our colleague Phil Tank shares, and what a local MP tries to assign to another politician.
And then we move on to election modernization and more.
Have a listen.

We focus on some recent business changes in Saskatoon. Blue Diamond. Merlin Ford Motors. And touch on bike lanes and a few other items.
We then jump to Alberta and recent Bill 20 that amplifies provincial reach into municipal jurisdiction. We then circle over to Ontario's latest provincial policy re no cell phones and no vaping in schools.
Have a listen. Support community radio and podcasts just like this (but of course only one just like this).

Dear Listeners,
We are back this week after a little Spring Break. Thanks for your patience.
Today we discuss the Solar eclipse that happened that had many a community in parts of Mexico, the USA and eastern Canada seeing the shadow of the moon during the day.
Very cool. Now, sadly, our 45% peek at this (a partial eclipse in Saskatchewan) was obstructed by clouds. But none the less, a fun day to see all the media about this.
Now to eclipsing forward, we dove into Civic Elections and the latest observations - as we continue to edge forward to Fall/Winter Election Season 2024 in our province. Have a listen. We 'waste' a little municipal compost and more. And speaking of zebras...
