    Hello Dear Listeners,

Hoping you had a good Family Long Weekend.

Today on Civically Speaking, Christina Cherneskey and I begin by sharing some sad news about a Saskatoon community champion and long-time media and sports personality. Heath Mulligan (Muggli) passed away this weekend. Hugs out to his wife, Lori Coolican, and the rest of his wonderful family.

During the early years of Civically Speaking Heath joined the show on a number of panels discussing a shared passion - civic issues.  One of the good one's  - gone too soon.

The rest of our show we jump back into on-going key topics - mayoral race updates (refreshes), questions and perspectives; the latest on DEED - the Downtown Event and Entertainment Centre (a mouthful of a term) and much more.

    Tune in. Share with others.

    And hug a loved one...

    Civically Speaking,
    Lenore and Christina

    Happiest of the New year,

May our civic muscles work to their utmost best this year - as we exercise them in a number of different ways. This year we vote in municipal and provincial ways, at the very least, for those residing in Saskatchewan.

Have a listen as we review activities over the last year and have a look see forward. Prognostications can be so much fun!

    Appreciation. Gratitude. Hope.

    Civically Speaking,

Thanks for tuning in, Dear Listeners,

In our recent episode, my co-host Christina Cherneskey and I had the opportunity to sit down with Gord Androsoff, the Executive Director of CHEP Good Food Inc. Our discussion delved into the impactful work CHEP is doing in our communities, particularly under the current socio-political and economic conditions.

This episode invites you to contemplate the broader implications of CHEP's efforts, the ongoing needs they address, and the challenges they confront. A special thanks to Gord for joining us and sharing his valuable perspectives.

I hope this episode provides insightful reflections and deepens your understanding of the essential role organizations like CHEP play in our society.
