    Send us Fan Mail

    Dear Civically Speaking Listeners,

Please have a listen to this direct to podcast, part 2 show with civic panel members Darcy Warrington, James Yachyshen, Cary Tarasoff and Ari Avivi.

We talk civic budget and the recently uploaded results of Saskatoon's Civic Survey found online while we were talking about City of Saskatoon's recent attempts at civic engagement on various different topics. e.g. new exchanges on west side Circle Drive; infill; and zoning.

Have a listen as we dive in feet and head first, unedited, into the Civic Survey 2021 results that we found uploaded on the City's website earlier this month. Of note, since recording this session, have found some media did report on this survey though a deep dive of the results we have not found yet. Here's the link (to other links) of various reports generated. 2021 Civic Surveys | Saskatoon.ca

    Thank you Civically Speaking Listeners,

For tuning in. And thank you to panel members Cary Tarasoff, Ari Avivi, Darcy Warrington (aka Washington) and James Yachyshen for joining today's show. Really appreciated our fast paced chat - my 'mushy covid brain aside' - about the latest goings on at Saskatoon's City Hall. We talk about three items related to Councillor Hill's code of conduct (Saskatoon city council vet Hill at centre of three conduct complaints | The Star Phoenix) and a discussion about Covid19 and jurisdictional lines crossed every which way by panel members (Saskatoon city council says yes to gathering limits | The Star Phoenix).

Please tune in and tune in to Part 2 - direct to podcast where we dive into the finding of the 2021 civics survey we found on line while discussing budgets and civic engagement taking place in the City of Saskatoon.

And please remember to support community radio. Especially 90.5 FM  cfcr.ca in Saskatoon. Where you can find this show airing on Tuesday's at 6:30 pm.

    Dear Listeners,

    Thanks for tuning in.

Civics Panel Member, Darcy Warrington brings his A game to this episode in a discussion entitled "How tweet is this?" An analysis of Saskatoon City council members maneuvering of the Twittersphere aka Twitter.

Thanks to Darcy's rubrics, we learn about the frequency and type of tweets Council members have been sending recently - and why this matters to us. It begs other questions including, what role generally and specifically does social media play as part of Council member's engagement and sharing of information with their communities?

Tune in and have a listen. Thanks Darcy for your insights. Much appreciation.
