On Tuesday's Morning Focus, Alan was joined by Allen Flynn who is the Co-owner of the Flynn Hotel Collection which includes The Old Ground Hotel in Ennis. Allen expressed his delight at the accolade and he spoke about what he believed was key to their success and highlighted ways in which the hotel group can improve even further. He discussed the importance of the loyalty shown from staff and management in their victory.

On Tuesday's Morning Focus, Alan took a trip to Hometree which is an environmental and biodiversity charity based in Ennistymon. He met up with Ray O'Foghlu who is the engagement and education officer of Hometree and Susan O'Neill who is a Clare singer and songwriter. Ray spoke about the changes and upgrades in Hometree along with highlighting the developments in their Wild Atlantic Rainforest Project. He described the project that they launched just before Christmas. Susan expressed her desire to hold a concert in order to raise funds in aid of the Wild Atlantic Rainforest Project which will take place in Kenny's Bar Lahinch on Thursday 16th of February.
