This September, musician, podcaster, and mental health advocate, Niall ‘Bressie’ Breslin, alongside a small group of friends, is set to embark on a remarkable fundraising journey to raise funds for the award-winning youth mental health charity; A Lust For Life, co-founded by Breslin in 2017.

Following the success of their 2023 expedition, which saw them kayaking the River Shannon, "The Rising 2024" promises an even greater challenge.

Ennis Chamber claims a new report proves the need for investment within the county town in order to create local jobs. A socio-economic profile of Ennis produced by People & Place Consultants in partnership with Ennis Chamber was launched on Friday at an event attended by Tánaiste Micheál Martin. The report shows that of the 12,204 Ennis residents who are in employment, 19.5% work in a different part of Clare and more than 18% work outside the county.
