As estheticians, it is part of our job to effectively build trust and communicate with our clients. But, how do we do this? Today we are unpacking the 3 ways that we have learned to be effective communicators with our clients:
1. Minimize judgement: Don't think you are above this. We all know what it feels like to be judged. Its not a great feeling. We all do it subconsciously.
2. Be quick to listen & slow to speak: Know when to speak and ask more questions always!
3. Respect the autonomy: Respect the fact that people have free will and they’re going to make the choices that they want. Not everyone is going to listen to the advice that you have and that’s OK. We can sometimes take it very personally when people don’t take our advice or suggestions, and the reality is it’s not about us.
Drink of the episode: Tiramisu Latte
How to make: 1 Double Expresso Pod from Nespresso, 6-8 Oz Milk or Milk alternative, 1/2 to 1 tsp tiramisu syrup, 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
Mix the Milk with the tiramisu syrup + Vanilla before pouring over ice and expresso*
Sprinkle with coco powder - serve with a lady finger on top*
