The co-CEO of ⁠100% Renewables⁠ talked about the challenges and the simple steps people needed to take to stay abreast of this new and quickly unfolding world.

Being a business enthusiast, she talked about the wonderful opportunities awaiting was brought to Shepparton by the ⁠Committee for Greater Shepparton⁠, the ⁠City of Greater Shepparton⁠ and ⁠AusIndustry⁠.

Kyle Magee (pictured) is just 40 but has a clear-eyed grasp of what troubles the world and why that is happening.

Arriving where he is today has not been easy and when the realization of climate change settled upon him as a university student, Kyle had what he describes as a "breakdown".

Understanding that action is the best antidote to despair, Kyle set out to do what he could and saw what he considered to be the failure of our media and the distortions arising from advertising, so he decided to tackle both.

Kyle set up the website Democratic Media Please and then took some practical steps to disrupt the advertising processes of the major corporations.

He has paid some attention to those involved with the "Subvertising" movement, articulated by the Cultural geographer at Aberystwyth University. Thomas Dekeyser.

John J. Berger (pictured) has written the just published book, "Solving the Climate Crisis; Frontline Reports for the Race to Save the Earth".

The website "Solving the Climate Crisis" says: "We are in a climate emergency-but there is a path forward. This groundbreaking book profiles the visionary scientists, farmers, business leaders, and activists whose scalable solutions to climate change give us a roadmap to a more hopeful future".

Berger's book is not so much about the climate crisis itself, but rather on ideas and the hows and whys we, that's the world community, can work together to navigate what is a global challenge.

Many books have crossed my desk in the past 15 years or so, but this literary effort by this New York City native is among the best if have read - I urge you to read "Solving the Climate Crisis", and embrace any of its many ideas and play your part in confronting what is an existential threat.
