Consider the way you treat others. Can you say that you follow the example of Jesu Christ in your compassion to your fellow men?

What spiritual gifts are you aware that you have? Which gifts do you desire? How do you recognize gifts in others and are you wiling to point those out as you see the in others?

Action Items:

Assess your life right now. Ask the Lord to show you what unnecessary things are occupying your time that could be give up if a call were to come your way. Or what could go on the back burner if you were to have a desire to serve in other capacities.

Reflect on your process when a call comes your way. Invite the lord to be part of that process.

God trusts us to make many important decisions, and in all matters He asks us to trust Him.

When have you placed your trust in God and what was the result?

What happens when we let God be the source of the truth in our life?

Have you noticed a pattern that God helps us establish trust in small and simple things so that when the tie for big decisions are necessary, the decision to trust Him has already been made? How has the pattern best your life?

Action Item: Take time to assess your trust in God. Take small opportunities to demonstrate your trust. record your thoughts so you have experiences to look back on.

This is the Savior’s gospel, and this is His Church (see 3 Nephi 27:21; Mosiah 26:22; 27:13). The combination of the two is powerful and transformative.

Do you want to hear more about HLHS? My sister has a beautiful blog that documents the experiences her family has had when her oldest child was diagnosed with HLHS and every post demonstrates how their faith and hope have grown in the process.
