To call any month this year peaceful is foolish, but September has a quiet suspense as we hang on the precipice of a 6-month stretch of Venus, Mercury, and Mars retrogrades. There is good impetus to be as dutiful and as active as possible. Generate growth where you can, piece by piece. Steady productivity is the Virgo way of grounding it will serve as good preparation for what’s to come. Be ready for imminent slowdowns, but give yourself lots of material to review when you get there.

Hosting Jupiter in Leo this next year is not your typical Jupiterian growth spurt! Now we have a rare configuration of Jupiter and the South Node in Leo opposite the North Node and Pluto in Aquarius. This amplifies the polarity of the Leo-Aquarius opposition which means we’re bound to see more extremes to highlight the differences and hopefully then find the middle ground. Expansion seems to come through release —letting go rather than acquiring. With Pluto involved the letting go seems to be huge — emotionally honest and psychologically deep-rooted. In Leo that has everything to do with ego validation, our desire to be liked and adored, our desire to be the singular special one, our creative projects, and generally what makes us feel confident and courageous. This is a spiritual growth spurt that brings us back to our humanity and vitality, so get out there and break a leg!
