Club Cosmos Radio: An Astrology Podcast

Y’all ready to yap? It’s Gemini time! This week is a love letter to the curious, brilliant, always over-stimulated, occasionally diabolical genius of Gemini. This endlessly adaptable air sign throws all certainty out the window for the love of asking questions, teaching us that getting interested in everything makes everything more interesting. We’re talking twins, Prince, goofball behavior, Azealia Banks, accidental optimism, gender bending, the Olsen Twins, lying for fun, Marilyn Monroe and more!

UPDATED with a new intro processing how the transits have been affecting our twins of late. Gemini placements everywhere have finally emerged from a disorienting 15-year square from Pisces transits only to enter a completely new blazing era the leader of the revolution. Pluto is trining Gemini, Saturn and Neptune (and soon Jupiter) are all sextiling Gemini, and most importantly Uranus - the zaniest of them all - is now in Gemini for the next 7 years. Spread the word!!

Finally we reach a month with some nice astrology! There are a couple tense spots, but overall the theme Is that if we take our sweet Taurus time, slow down and take in the beauty of our surroundings, then we can clear our minds for the Gemini epiphanies coming down the pike. I provide a crucial reminder as to where Taurus falls in everyone’s chart and what topics it governs PLUS the astrology of Lena Dunham, Ticketmaster, the Tarantino-ification of culture, the disappearance of scientists, Scientology Speed Runs, and more.

Time to celebrate the sensuality, the strength, and the grounded gorgeousness that is Taurus! This languid, resourceful earth sign is here to teach us to take our time savoring the pleasures of the present. This episode is UPDATED with a reflection on Uranus in Taurus as it came to an official close (2018-2026), and what the Taurus parts of our charts now have in store with squares from Pluto in Aquarius, Jupiter in Leo, and the Nodes/Eclipses in Aquarius in Leo. Plus we’re talking camp, hedonism, loud luxury, Cher, hoarders, dictators, the art of stubbornness, Lisa Frank, resting bitch face, Nathan Fielder and our hypothesis that Taureans are low-key the biggest weirdos of the zodiac.

Saturn and Neptune conjoin at 0’ of Aries on February 20th, 2026. A rare and very definitive cultural re-structuring. We got a taste of what might be in store in 2025 when Neptune was in Aries from Late March through October, and Saturn was in Aries from late May through early September. Prior to this, Saturn has not inhabited this sign since the late 1990’s, and Neptune hasn’t been here since the 1860s-70s. Leah Shirley, fellow artist and astrologer, joins me on a deep dive into both the collective implications of Saturn in this new sign as well as what it means for Neptune to be riding right alongside him. There’s no sugar-coating this ride. Suit up! See why Saturn in Aries means a rise in rebellious youth culture, clashes with militant forces, and everyday rugged heroes. We also explore how Saturn-Neptune conjunctions are significant precursors to incredible cultural prosperity in our history, the start of which is sure to be a messy, impassioned, highly ideological construction of an entirely new reality.

Better late than never!! The gang is back together again to parse through the blazing astrology of a year full of explosions, confusion, and saving graces. The Fire and Air era was introduced in 2025 with Saturn and Neptune’s movement into Aries and Uranus into Gemini - all of which continue and intensify in 2026 - but even more fuel is added to the flames when the eclipses shift to Aquarius and Leo, along with Jupiter’s entry into Leo. This is such loud astrology that it’ll require a sharpening of our instincts and sheer determination to boldly go where we’ve never gone before. Atop al that, after a dizzying, revolutionary summer, we wrap the year in a sea of retrograde energy. Venus and Mercury retrograde in October and November while Mars gears up to station retrograde in the early days of 2027. May these stress tests make us stronger and graduate us into the next thrilling chapter of our lives! Where there is a will there is a way.

NOTE: this was recorded in early January AND please forgive any technical difficulties :)

This month is particularly marked by the forces of a series of Uranus oppositions to upend the whole structure, and a Mercury retrograde to keep us very much on our toes. In other words, plan to change your plans! Adaptability is our stability right now. We’re also entering the final days of our Taurus and Pisces transits amidst a continuing Grand Water Trine to keep us very sensitive, but hopefully enables some resolutions that provide real emotional relief —enough to start the process of moving on into this new era. Now that Mars is in Sagittarius, and there was an election, some of us may feel like we have a real horse in the race :) PLUS the astrology of the Louvre heist, internet outages, star athletes, cultural critique, and the power of Scorpio actors.

As always, for more detailed coverage of all the transits transpiring this month, and the effects they have on a personal scale, join my Patreon to hear The Forecast. It’s also there that you’ll find an episode with Mercury retrograde horoscopes for every sign.

Updated for Fall 2025

One of the most positive transits the universe can possibly offer is upon us! Which might have you looking around and thinking. . . but how could that be? We have some hurdles to blame for that right now, and we have to distinguish between collective and personal experiences (unsurprisingly hard to do these days), but Jupiter in Cancer is a 13-month transit and it’s only just begun. I have a lot of faith it will deliver and you should, too.

Find out what years to refer back to identify growth spurts arounds similar themes in your life that are sure to come up again. I break down the timeline as to what dates are especially juicy this summer in preparation for an incredibly productive period of Jupiter trine Saturn this fall into 2026. Jupiter in Cancer is already a Miracle-Gro of sorts, but with Saturn’s support this time around the growth is bound to be very long-lasting. It’s a miracle?

Eclipse Season is upon us! It’s always a stormy moment in the cosmic weather, but always clarifying and - dare I say - might even usher in something wonderful??Saturn also returns to Pisces, Uranus stations retrograde, we get a crystal clear Mercury Cazimi in Virgo, and end the month on a powerful, explosive Mars-Pluto square that seems to pose a threat to the powers that be. We’re being reminded of old lessons this month and pushed dramatically into new ones, but with lots of creative willpower to do it.
