The new Kingdom of Christ plunders the devil’s kingdom through the gospel, setting captives free and gathering God’s family.  Victory is not in doubt, neither should you be.

Because Jesus encountered hostility to His authority, Christians today should not be surprised when we encounter the same hostility to the gospel.

Jesus Christ has kingdom authority to cleanse the defiled and undo the work of the devil; an authority which he shares with his followers as they advance his cause.

Jesus the Messiah, the Son of God, enters the wilderness of suffering to save his people as promised, calling them to follow him on the wilderness path until the day they share his final triumph.

As a church, our boldness with the gospel and our resiliency in the mission is directly tied to our belief that we really do have dominion to subdue the earth, based on the death, burial and resurrection of our glorious Redeemer.

Real love for the brethren inevitably goes viral, and when it does, Christ’s mission to the nations is fulfilled. 

Is loving the brethren a top priority on your to-do list? Are you living that out? The obedience that marks God’s saving grace is obedience to the second great commandment, for the greatest commandment is to love the Lord our God devotedly, and to love God devotedly is to love His people as ourselves. 

Christianity is about a grace that produces a profound transformation, changing initially and continuously our very nature from being disobedient rebels to submissive servants.

A renewed vision of God’s beauty and excellence produces greater tenderness of heart, such that believers are marked by an increasing love for God and others, and an increasing hatred of sin.

Seeing and loving God for his excellency, revealed in Christ, enables believers to be certain that the gospel is true --- a certainty which sustains us though life’s chaos and trials & indicates our hearts’ affections.
