Rev. Ncham Godwill Chiatoh, General Secretary of the Cameroon Baptist Convention, shares an encouraging and challenging message from Acts on the gospel and church planting. 

The way of a renewed heart, indeed of true faith is the way that loves and fears God for nothing, intoxicated with His person, not His perks. 

God’s awesome power is evident in His work of creation, and especially in His work of new creation, as through the gospel God resurrects dead sinners to new life in Christ.

When affliction and tragedy hit, we can respond many ways, but God gives clear direction as to the way that brings glory to Him (and real peace and happiness to us).

God is magnificent, especially in His love seen in His creation, His providence and most clearly in His redemption, and such love demands and compels a radical response of reckless devotion and affection.    

Parenting is not for the faint of heart. If we’re to parent well, it must be with courage, and God gives us all we need to be courageous in our parenting through faith in His Word. 

 

The most beautiful thing about God is His holiness, best seen in Christ’s redemption, a true view of which will never fail to cause the human heart to increase in love for God.

The disciples were ultimately captivated by Christ’s glory which is the key not only to starting, but also to protecting and refreshing our love affair with God.
