Outward conformity to God’s order does not render sinners safe in his presence, but the faith-accessed work of His mediator brings us to rest safely in his presence forever.

God has promised rest to those lost in sin, but only to those who are diligent to enter that rest by faith in the One who won that rest, Jesus Christ.
