God’s covenant of grace through Jesus Christ is irrevocable and that grace stabilizes His people even amid life’s greatest challenges and the devil’s greatest assaults.

Believers have every reason to live in happy confidence because Jesus Christ rose victoriously from the grave for us.  This secures our justification, imparts new life in union with him & guarantees our bodily resurrection when he comes again.

Even while hanging on the cross, Jesus makes clear from His last words that His death alone brings eternal life to all who truly believe. 

Jesus Christ lived in perfect obedience to God for us. This satisfied the law's demand for perfection, qualified Him to die for our sings, and established the pattern for His people to follow.

Despite the disastrous consequences of sin, God is faithful to his covenant promise and will deliver his people to eternal rest through faith in Jesus Christ.

Sinners in search of God’s rest have but one hope:  to share in the service & reward of God’s appointed priest.

No question of greater importance for the church or for every individual exists than this: How can a person know that he is in favor with his Creator? Or in short: How can a person know that he has true saving faith?

It is a terrifying thing to turn away from Christ, as Israel teaches us at Kadesh, therefore we must learn from their example and persevere in faith, especially in hard times. 

Saving faith does not rebel against God’s provision, but gratefully rests in it, while traveling on the challenging path toward the Promised Land.

Only the cleansed will enter God’s rest, a cleansing which comes by God’s blessing through the service of a holy substitute.
