And when your mind won’t switch off — use the wave.
Picture a slow, gentle wave rolling in and out.
Count down from 10.
Imagine drawing the number 10 in the sand.
Let the wave wash it away.
Then 9.
Then 8.
If your mind wanders?
No judgment. Start back at 10.
I’ve never made it to zero.
Simple. Calm. Effective. Let the wave do the work.
