The cost of redeciding can often be higher than the initial decision. We may get too excited or quick-thinking about a decision. We skip the detailed element of what the decision and result entail. 

If we had actually spent more time on our initial decision, we may have saved ourselves from the cost of shame, inaction and the trust cycle we broke.
