His background is in marketing and sales and by chance was blessed to discover the martial arts industry while his son was training to be a blackbelt, first helping the school his son attended to double in size in less than 6 months, and then moving on to help hundreds of schools across the world.

Jon has one of the best (if not the best) track records in this industry and has helped hundreds of schools all around the globe.Jon is the founder of GetKarateStudents.com, the creator or the Student Magnet™ Program and owns a software business called The Follow Up Ninja

Travis Klabon came to the business side of the martial arts industry after years of successful coaching and program building.  His years building successful travel sports leagues and coaching players into the NFL helped fine-tune a skill set to help hundreds of school owners reach their business goals for their school.

Travis has worked with school owners on 3 continents and continues to support them inefficient ways to grow their school.

Today's guest is Loren Avedon, He received his first big “break” while working out in a Los Angeles Karate school.  Producer Roy Horan was canvassing the town in search of a replacement for Jean-Claude Van Damme and the lead actor in the film.  For the film, Horan was producing “No Retreat, No Surrender II, Raging Thunder” (Karate Tiger as it called in Europe) the lead called for a young man, over six feet tall who could act while also being a world-class martial artist.  Because of his dashing good looks, charm, and excellent kicks, and martial arts fighting skills, Horan decided to give Loren an audition.  The role was for an All-American boy with a Bruce Lee/Rambo side.  Loren beat out the more than 75 actors who auditioned and one week later he was signed to a 3 picture deal with Seasonal Films.  Variety called Loren “the Blued eyed Blonde haired Bruce Lee”.  Seasonal Films in Hong Kong had started the careers of Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, and Jean-Claude Van Damme.  The film was released in 2500 theaters across the United States and launched Loren’s career as a movie star with a $2700 per-screen average.

Today’s guest is Jackie Kallen. Jackie is one of boxing's first and most successful female managers.

Her life was the inspiration for the 2004 movie Against the Ropes, starring Meg Ryan as Kallen.

She also worked as a consultant for Mark Burnett's reality TV series The Contender.

Kallen currently lives in the Detroit area and manages three professional boxers, including Bronco McKart and a prospect from the Philippines.

Kallen made her managerial debut with heavyweight Bobby Hitz in 1988. She managed her first champion in 1991, James Toney knocking out 

Michael Nunn in eleven rounds to win the IBF world Middleweight title. Another Kallen fighter, Bronco McKart, won the WBO world Jr. Middleweight 

title in 1996. Emanuel Steward inadvertently coached her without realizing that he was doing so.

In the tactical training field, Sifu Baker has taught countermeasures and defensive tactics, firearms, and edged-weapon programs through his AMAC Tactical Training Group to Fortune 50 corporate security teams and law enforcement / SWAT teams throughout the United States from the Marietta SWAT team here in Georgia to the Cincinnati SWAT team and the California Highway Patrol unit just to name a few. He has been privileged to work with and design training programs for the Department of Defense, CIA, and other specialized government and military groups like the U.S. Department Of Homeland Security.
