I was in an interview, Today with Maxwell for an interview for our coming summits -The coaching startup summit-.
He highlighted, this is like a pick up of the summit. He highlighted something with great importance when it comes to promoting ourselves as coaches.
In fact, I was asking him for an advice to share with other coaches. On what is the best practice and best ways to attract people. To attract client, to be very effective and efficient in our approach in getting new clients.
He’s telling me that, one of the strategies that he recommend and he’d been using is that people want see you doing the coaching.
They need to see you practicing with someone else, or sometimes with themselves to believe the power of coaching. To be engaged and to be attracted more.
He told me that, he recommends for coaches sometimes in open events to get one of the clients on stage. And start coaching him live in front of the audience of that time.
So, that the audience will feel they will lecture. They will be experiencing live what’s happening between the coach and the client.
In fact, they will be even applying the same on themselves because the questions they will be oriented to the person, like the one on the stage himself.
also they will be thinking the same for themselves. And this is very powerful.
Such actions are very important in effective way. When we want to convince other people, especially when it comes to coaching. You know, we know very well that coaching is not the common skill.
It’s very powerful skill, especially that it’s dealing with the conscious mind and the subconscious mind. It’s pushing people to think something that we’re not very common, very familiar with who we’re not wired to thing.
We spend most of our days dealing in autopilot mode without thinking, just leading. Letting our subconscious mind lead the show.
In coaching it is the philosophy, the approach is different and this is what makes it very attractive and powerful.
So experience it, like while seeing someone on a stage or he told me that even if there’s a YouTube channel. After getting permission of the coach to share experiences of you coaching someone in.
Whether in YouTube or in social media. since these are forms that will allow us to have a big rich sharing of our content.
The key here is let the people see and experience. This was one of the insights that he shared with me.
The second one which I really liked, He told me that whenever we are giving something like a lead magnet, or a free thing to the audience.
It is with extreme importance that what we are offering for free is not way different than the reality of what we are doing.
So we’re not like check something trivial or rubbish that we’re going to give for free just for the sake of collecting emails or no.
The idea is to give, this is you, this is your image. In fact, what you are offering is reflecting you yourself and it’s g
