The MLBPA responds to the gridlock on the agreement to return to baseball. The players spoke up about returning to play but the issues are with the owners refusing to pay out full salaries. Drew Brees speaking with Yahoo Finance yesterday was asked about the idea of players protesting when the NFL season begins. Brees comments came under fire from former teammates, current teammates, and athletes all around the country. Brees issued an apology this morning that feels like he's still missing the point. The NFL has informed teams that effective tomorrow coaches can return to team facilities while still abiding by local guidelines.
