Back in January of 2018, I (Cody) attended my first in-person FI event — CampFI in Florida.

I was 21 years old at the time, and my mind was blown. I was meeting real people who retired in their 20s, 30s, and 40s.

The guys from ChooseFI decided to record a community episode featuring some folks from the event, and to my surprise, they asked me to come up to the microphone.

What you hear in this episode is my first podcast appearance, ever.

And then “future Cody” comes in and comments on what 21-year-old Cody said.

The craziest part? Is actually how little has changed in terms of philosophy and strategy.
