Another DCU film, another definite article to erase previous films from existence. Danny and Kevin review the newest iteration of Batman from simian auteur Matt Reeves. The duo were cautiously optimistic heading into this movie, but like Michael Scott, they were ready to get hurt again. Is Batman a relevant film franchise? Will this new take reach the heights of The Dark Knight Trilogy or fall into the chasm to lie beside Batman v Superman in eternal shame? Danny and Kevin review Joel Coen's Macbeth, the latest adaptation of Shakespeare's shortest tragedy. They then discuss the Coen Brothers and gently lament the end to the career of cinema's greatest duo. Powell and Pressburger can stuff it.

Kevin is joined by his second guest host, Zack Renschler, to discuss 2021 releases that are in contention for Academy Award nominations. Zack has already seen several of these films and offers brief reviews and suggests categories they could be nominated for on Hollywood's biggest night. The two also share movies they look forward to seeing this award season. As is tradition on the show, the conversation often goes off topic to areas like Jonny Greenwood, Ridley Scott's filmography, and Star Wars.
