Thank you so much for joining me for a cup of Coffee & Kettlebells!Today, we're joined by Dr. Brooke and we're talking all things SKIN. We're diving into lots of questions including...
What is acne?
What causes breakouts?
What should we be doing to control it?
To put it simply, breakouts are a type of inflammation. We chat about two of the biggest culprits when it comes to skin issues: hormones + food. Dr. Brooke shares how our skin is the ultimate clue to how our hormones and our health are doing. When acne happens, it's likely a signal that something is out of balance.
Our skin is truly a window into our bodies. Whether your inflammation is being triggered by food, hormones, chronic illness, gut health, or stress – our skin lets us know. We've all been faced with those unwanted blemishes, so hopefully understanding the root of it all is helpful as we move forward.
