Moderation is the key to a healthy lifestyle because we all know, too much of a good thing can be bad! In our society, it can be hard to make an informed decision on how to live within healthy means and still be able to enjoy all of the good things life has to offer, especially when trying to decide between having a salad or having chicken tenders. The goal of moderation is not to restrict yourself, but rather learn how to indulge in appropriate amounts. Living your best life should not feel like a choice between being happy or being healthy, the two can exist together! Sleep seems like such a simple concept because the body just naturally does it and we don't tend to over analyze why or how it happens. Believe it or not, so many of us struggle with getting a good night's rest despite how simple it seems and considering how much our body craves it. If you feel exhausted in the morning as soon as your alarm goes off or lie awake for an hour or two tossing and turning counting down the minutes of sleep you might get if you fell asleep right at this exact moment, then you might struggle with your sleep habits.
