Cogitations

In the Tuesday night livestream for DigitalBibleStuduy I lightly touched on a principle from Scripture. This podcast episode is just to expand on that. If you would like to watch the livestream on which this episode is based, click the link below.

This episode came from a comment someone shared with me about James 2 and the term, faith. The punch of James 2 is diminished if the intended original audience was not aware and in agreement that faith without works dead being alone. It is almost as if the Holy Spirit knew some of the issues Christians would face eventually and countered arguments before they were even made. All in all, it is a powerful and interesting chapter. Take a listen, I hope you will be deified.

This episode is from my cogitations about an excerpt from a book about how self improvement. It tie into what I always preach about Christians not calling themselves sinners. Take a listen and let me know what you think.

Well, I guess I wasn't done cogitating about this. I forgot I recorded episode 3 about the verse in Luke. Oh well, this is an expanded version of the episode. I hope you like it.

This episode is an explanation of a verse that is rather difficult. I hope you are edified and informed.

This was an interesting episode for me to prepare and present. There are two responses to fear in the New Testament represented by two words in the original language. One response is inaction and impotence. The other response is courageous. Take a listen and be empowered to go forth with fear and great joy.

Assuming one is saved and in a right relationship with God, what is the most important question to ask when considering ordering one's life and actions that define it? I hope you are edified by my thoughts on this topic.

Thanks so much for a great year. We have added about 1000 downloads per month in the year, 2021. I pray this podcast has blessed you as much as it has blessed me. Keep this in your prayers and may we be blessed with another 1000 downloads per month in 2022.

This episode talks about the propensity for some Christians to be more outraged at people standing against evil than the evil itself. Take a listen.

So many folk spending time with loved ones during the holiday season are forced into close proximity with those who are antagonistic to their faith. This can be a pitfall especially to new Christians. I hope this episode will help you if you feel disheartened.
