We examine the attempt to redefine the church today, as men try to make it relevant in today's culture. However, what did the early church do in it's day to be impactful in it's culture? Today, we will examine one of the earliest miracles and sermons after Jesus' ascension back into heaven.  We can see five elements that belong in every gospel message. 

Today, we examine the last words that Jesus speaks to the Jewish nation. From now on, Jesus begins to pour into his disciples as he prepares them for his death and resurrection. So, what does Jesus say to the Jewish nation? Does this message apply not only to us personally, but also to all people who currently deny the Christ?

When the fall of man took place the communion that was existent between God and man was broken. Communication began to suffer and it becomes really apparent in John chapter 12 and verse 20-24. Today, we examine this failure to communicate as humanity is faced with a Messiah that was willing to die to purchase their freedom and restore the relationship that once was.

The triumphant entry is a watermark moment as Jesus enters into Jerusalem and is treated as a hero. This moment not only runs in the shadow of the Passover, but it also demonstrates the foreordained moment of worship of the Lamb of God.

Today, we look at the lesser points found in the 11th Chapter of John. The raising of Lazarus overshadows many good points within the narrative, and it is those that we concentrate on.

Today, the religious leaders confront Jesus with a question, "Are you the Christ?" Here is a question that must be answered by all people. It is a question that is answered by believers, agnostics, atheists, and academics. Some give it great thought, while others dismiss all thought and just buy into the prevailing concept of their day. Jesus however, gives the reasons for careful contemplation of what he labels as evidence to be considered to these religious leaders.

Jesus claims of deity are always prefaced by "I AM..." today he claims being "the gate" and the Good Shepherd. The picture of the Shepherd is one of Kingship in the same vain as David. After all the Lord's claims the religious leaders remain divided. Some struggling with doubt and the others with total unbelief.

Today, we examine the day that a man, blind from birth was healed by Jesus. There are three obvious segments to the 9th chapter. We see the introduction, which leads to the investigation and it ends with the invitation. The Lord demonstrates his sovereignty over the natural law, as well as over those religious leaders who oppose him.
