• 2 ounces Bourbon
• .5 ounces Amaretto
• .75 ounces Lemon juice
• .75 ounces Simple syrup
• Egg white (optional)
• Red wine
Combine all but red wine into cocktail shaker and dry shake (minimum of 30 seconds if using egg white). Add ice and shake again; strain into rocks glass with ice. Pour .5 ounces red wine over a stirring spoon to float on top.

It took me years to perfect this recipe. Ingredients:
• 1.5 ounces potato vodka (Luksusowa or Chopin)
• 1.5 ounces orange flavored vodka (Smirnoff Orange or Absolut Mandarin)
• 2 ounces Gordon's London Dry Gin
• 1 ounce Dolin Vermouth de Chambéry
• 1 barspoon Mathilde Poire Liqueur
• 2 dashes Orange Bitters
Combine all ingredients in a shaker with ice and shake well. Strain into coupe glass and garnish with lemon twist.

I substitute the traditional teaspoon of water with Liquid I.V. Golden Cherry and use cherry bitters instead of Angostura.
• 1 sugar cube
• 1 orange slice
• 1 maraschino cherry
• 1 teaspoon Liquid I.V. Golden Cherry-flavored water
• 2 ounces bourbon
Muddle everything but the bourbon in a mixing glass until sugar is dissolved; add ice and bourbon. Stir until chilled; strain into rocks glass. Garnish with a maraschino cherry and orange peel.
