This Sunday, Pastor Martin continues his new series through the Gospel of John. Verse 1 teaches us the eternity, personhood, and full deity of Christ. This week, Pastor looks at vv 2–5 as John continues to teach us about the Lord he knew so well, pointing to his work and attributes as God.

This Easter Sunday, Pastor preaches from 1 Corinthians 15. Christ’s resurrection, we must understand, is more than a happy ending to the sad life and death of Jesus. In the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead is our own resurrection and the consummation of all God’s plans for this sin-wrecked globe. The promise of a glorious coming kingdom and the exaltation of God over all things is rooted in a historical fact, the resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth from the dead.

In the evening service, Pastor Martin continues is series through 1 Corinthians and tonight concludes a 3 part message over verses 19-23 of chapter 9.

Pastor Martin's sermon this Sunday is on Psalm 10. Last week he covered Psalm 9, which considers the glory of the coming reign of Jehovah in righteousness. Psalm 10 looks candidly at the prosperity of the wicked and the apparent absence of God. In the end, the Psalm calls out in faith to God for help and reaffirms his confession that the Lord will reign on earth.

In the evening service, Pastor Martin studied all the passages in Scripture that speak about the "Book of Life" and what it all means.
