Have you ever stopped someone from doing something, or just didn’t agree to do something because you knew it was dangerous? Many times people do things with the intention of protecting others from something or someone, and most times they don’t even realize you did anything at all. If you are a parent you have probably had to stop your child from doing something that potentially saved their life and they didn’t even bat an eye. Today Pastor Mark explains how, like a parent, God saves us and most times we aren’t even aware of His presence. Whether you realize it or not God is constantly intervening to protect you!

Have you ever wanted to change a process at work? Maybe you just wanted to change the way your family does dinner time. If you tell others what you want to change and then continue to do it the original way, you won’t see much change. Many times you have to just do the change and others will begin to follow. Many times people in the church will pray and ask for a revival in the church as a whole. Well, today Pastor Mark explains if you want to see revival in the church, you must first start with a personal revival! Once you confess and become revived others will see and the revival will spread. The bottom line is you should be an example for others.

Have you ever read something and when you finished you didn’t really know what you had just read, so you went back and read it again? It could have been instructions that just didn’t make sense the first or even second time. Many times once you get to the end you have context and you can go back and it all will make sense. When it comes to the Bible you may not understand much of what you read the first time. Today Pastor Mark assures you that you aren’t alone, even Daniel didn’t understand at first. As you spend more time in the Word and praying, you will start to understand more and more. All you need to know now is God loves you!

Have you ever been asked to do something that doesn’t align with your morals or beliefs? How did you respond? If it hasn’t happened, how do you think you would respond? There may be times when it would be easier to, just this once, compromise, but in that case, when do you say enough is enough? In today’s message, Pastor Mark explains how after being killed and mistreated for years a group of Jews decided they weren’t going to stand for it anymore. In some cases, they even killed people who were willing to compromise their beliefs. Have you considered how far you could be pushed before you pushed back?

There are so many different accents in the United States that you don’t have to leave the country to not be able to understand people. If you’re from the south people from the north speak too fast, and vice versa. If you’re not from the Deep South and you travel or move there, you may think you need a translator to order coffee! In today’s message, Pastor Mark reminds you that God can speak right to you! It doesn’t matter what language you speak, or if you have a thick accent, God will speak to you in a voice that you can understand. All you have to do is ask what He wants to say to you, and then, most importantly, listen for His voice.

During the end times, there will be a control exerted on the world by mankind that will be oppressive. We felt a little of that control during COVID. The world was controlling man’s lifestyle. They made everyone obey. God did not allow it to continue at this time, but in the end times, it will happen again and oppress us. In today’s message, Pastor Mark assures us of two things from scripture. The first truth is; that oppressive controlling times are coming. The second encouraging truth is; that we can escape them. These times are for those who are saved after the rapture and those of us who are Christians will not have to endure them.

Is your name written in the “Lamb’s Book of Life?” There will be quite a library in Heaven, but the most important book is the “Lamb’s Book of Life.” At the judgment seat of Christ, the decision for your eternity will have already been made. If you have placed your faith in Christ while on earth, your name will be there. In today’s message, Pastor Mark reminds us of the importance of this last scene. There will be no more appeals. The names in the book are final. It will be a wonderful and fearful scene at the same time. Justice will finally be rendered and eternity revealed. That is why sharing the gospel now is so urgent and important.

God’s viewpoint is different from man’s viewpoint. In today’s message, Pastor Mark describes the vision of Nebuchadnezzar in two different passages. From a man’s point of view, the statue had gold and precious metals. From God’s point of view, the statue was four beasts. God saw ugly sin in these four powers. We see things from this world’s view and often we judge ourselves by the world’s standards and we look pretty favorable. But, when we see ourselves as God sees us, we see filthy rags. Only when we see ourselves as fallen and broken can we come to Him. God sees our brokenness and receives us.

Who is the Antichrist? Is he alive today? No one knows. He is described in Daniel as a little horn, and probably unknown. He will begin as a small insignificant leader who rises up quickly. He will be given power and authority by Satan and will do away with other world leaders and take supreme leadership of the world. In today’s message, Pastor Mark shows us how God foretells about the end times and this Anti-Christ’s, or little horns’, rise to power. It is important to understand his strength and power will be supernatural and given to him by Satan. The images in Daniel are consistent with the same images in the book of Revelation.

The first six chapters of Daniel are in chronological order. The last six chapters are prophetic and not in chronological order. It is important to realize that God sees things all at one time. He often goes outside that historical timeline to convey the truth to us. We see things in a linear way, but God sees things all at once. In today’s message, Pastor Mark gives an analogy of seeing things from a hot air balloon. From the earth, we see the street in front of us, but from above, people are able to see several miles ahead. God has a different perspective than we do. We see what is happening now, but he sees the future and has a better view.
