But her laughter was the symptom of a lack of faith. It came from the same distrust that led her and Abraham to devise their own plans and bear a child through their maidservant Hagar. God has put influential people in your life. Whether they are positive influences or negative, you have to or get to interact with them. Many times, God has talked through people to communicate with one of His sons or daughters, and God has used difficult people to teach us patience and kindness.
