Guess who is back in the nerd cave?  Neil T. Weakley!  Chris liked Wolverine and how they developed Logan.  Neil thought it was fun and Graham wants to marry the Samurai girl!  Then Neil talks about what panels he saw at Comic Con, like the Superman Batman film!  And how cool the new Godzilla film looks!  A really mixed bag of DVDs this week along with a boring slate of new releases.  It's the kitten hands of future past!

We are back at the San Diego Comic-Con, so that can only mean one thing.  Talking to Kung Fu Film expert Ric Meyers!  Chris, Graham and Ric discuss the Con, Ric's panel and the state of action films.  And hear about some cool martial arts films coming from China.  It is a episode you can't miss!

Crickey mates, Australian comic/podcaster Wil Anderson visits the Nerd HQ!  All three lads explain why they didn't see Grown Ups 2.  And then they all liked Pacific Rim but it had many problems.  Wil talks about some lesser known Aussie films and horrible accents.  Along with why Yahoo Serious has a website from 1994.  One good DVD out this week and a weak weekend for in-theaters.  This is a Greedy/Gritty Reboot if ever there was one.

Chris and Graham welcome back bad accent fan Pat Francis into the Nerd HQ.  Graham thought White House Down was exactly the dumb film you thought it would be.  Then all three gents express how horrible The Lone Ranger was.  Pat talks about his favorite super hero films of this summer and what he is looking forward too.  Not great DVDs this week and then the question of the week is whether Pacific Rim will be good or not.  This episode will make a bunny go crazy!

Chris and Graham are in front of a live audience in the Comedy Attic for the Limestone Comedy Festival!  First guest is comic and feature film grip Brett Hiker.  Bret tells behind the scenes stories about working on big budget films.  Then Pete Holmes comes out and defends his case that Dark Knight Rises is a bad film.  Graham tries not to kill him.  It is pure crazy fun!

It's a Zombie-centric episode with Nerd writer, Matt Weinhold and Matt Mogk from the Zombie Research Society.  First Chris says why he liked Monsters U.  Then a lenghty discussion about World War Z.  The two Matt's didn't like it while Chris and Graham enjoyed it.  This leads into talk about what makes a good zombie story and where this genre can and should go.  A couple of good DVDs and then a really weird weekend.  This episode will take over your brain like a virus.

Chris and Graham welcome back the 40 Year Old Boy and nerd writer, Mike Schmidt.  Graham talks about why This is the End is a good funny film.  Then a long discussion about why all three nerds were very disappointed with Man Of Steel.  The Superman talk leads into what makes a good comic book film and what kills it.  Are there too many superhero films?  You will have to listen to decide.  Also maybe the single lamest week for DVDs and then three interesting films coming out this weekend.  Listen to this before General Zod atacks the nerd garage!
