Film fan and host of Podcrash Chris Gore is back in the Nerd HQ.  Mancini talks about why Pain & Gain is stupid.  Graham really liked Mud.  Chris Gore talks about Rubber and how inventive it is.  Then a nice discussion on how Hollywood Blockbusters have changed for a global market.  Some good DVDs this week and then get ready for IRON MAN 3!!! It's a film nerd threat for your ears!

Chris and Graham are all alone in the gargolye garage!  They have a long talk about Oblivion and what makes a good sci-fi film.  Then they announce that the show is moving to the All Things Comedy network and how that is going to be good for all you fans.  Some good DVD titles this week and will Graham break his vow to never see a Michael Bay film because Pain & Gain has a funny trailer?  Tune in to find out!

Chris and Graham welcome nerd writer David Huntsberger to the Nerd HQ.  Dave talks about his podcast Professor Blastoff and what films he watches with his girlfriend.  Graham thought 42 was a solid film.  Dave thought the 3D for Jurassic Park was unnesscary, but the film was still fun to watch on the big screen.  Chris gives a shocker and didn't like To the Wonder.  Two good films coming out on DVD and split opinions on the new Tom Cruise film coming out this weekend.  Blastoff your life up with this episode!

The co-founder of the Bridgetown Comedy Festival and comic Andy Wood joins the lads.  Andy explains why The Call is ridiculous.  Chirs really liked The Place Beyond the Pines.  Graham was smitten with The Sapphires.  Then all three talk about their favorite Coen brother films.  Slow week for new DVDs but some good films in theaters this weekend! If you don't like this ep, then sit on it!

Neil is back with bad accents and kitten hands!  Graham appologizes to the world for going to see GI Joe.  The Croods made Chris mad.  Graham thought The Host was both parts boring and dumb. Thank God Neil saw Evil Dead so there was something good to talk about.  Graham liked The Place Beyond The Pines.  Then all three talk about what summer films they are excited for.  Two out of four good DVDs and some decent indie films this weekend.  It is a scary forest of nerd fun!

Longtime friend and first time guest Sarah Silverman joins the lads in the Nerd HQ!  Graham thought Olympus Has Fallen was just the right kind of stupid, sort of how Sarah Felt about Knight and Day.  Chris really liked It's a Disaster.  Then Sarah and the boys talk about new ways of distribution and how fun it was for Sarah to work on Wreck-It Ralph.  It is like the Jesus is Magic of episodes.

Chris and Graham welcome comic Baron Vaughn into the Nerd HQ!  Baron and Graham both liked Burt Wonderstone.  Chris really liked OZ much more than Graham and Baron wanted more Sam Raimi.  Then Baron and the guys talk about their favorite Sam Raimi films.  A solid line-up of films coming out on DVD and a really weird and lame looking weekend for new releases.  Don't Fuqua this up!

A lone gunman entered the Nerd HQ, Chris and Graham got excited!  Longtime nerd writer Dean Haglund came back to talk about working on a film that Chris directed.  Graham was sooooo let down by Dead Man Down.  Dean talks about a new way to fund a film he is making and why he HATED Hitchcock!  So much so that it changed Graham's mind.  Also Life of PI is out on DVD along with a great music doc, Sound City.  It is a conspiracy of fun!

Chris and Graham welcome host of the JV Club podcast, Janet Varney, into the nerd HQ.  Janet talks about how her podcast has evolved since it started a year ago. Graham recommends Emperor as a good film about post WWII Japan.  Chris was let way down by The Sweeney.  Then all three talk about the Oscars.  Janet tells some great stories about Danny DeVito at San Francisco Sketch Fest.  A good line-up of new DVDs.  And two nice films coming out this weeekend.  Nerd it up like Suzanne Pleshette!
