Get ready for anti-feminist and misogynistic rants, but there's much more to learn. This will be the first episode in a series that unfolds how we got to where we are.

This episode is just a brief message to let you know why the show was away for so long and to let you know that it'll be back soon.
Listener discretion advised. This episode involves talks of child pornography.
We are finally back to talk about the indie comic Anne Bonnie and the very problematic creator Tim Yates. I, unfortunately, knew Time Yates before his arrest and learned a great deal about who he is and why this comic nearly disappeared overnight. We try to keep the conversation from getting to heavy, but it is unfortunately hard to do with the given subject.
Along the way we discuss the failings of creators like Dan Harmon (creator of Rick and Morty and Community) and Joss Whedon (creator of Buffy, Firefly, and director of The Avengers) as well as the ways an apology can work.
I'm joined by Kay Despina to talk about these issues so please check out her site Acceptance Revolution for stories on acceptance of sexual orientation, gender identity, and mental illness.
We finally dive into the "Punisher turns black" story and learn just what the hell happened, including some behind the scenes information from writers and editors. Luke Cage joins the scene, Rush Limbaugh gets a mention, and we discuss Rodney King and the Civil Rights Act of 1991 all while wishing this was just a Luke Cage story to begin with.
*I'll be posting a picture of The Punisher's new face on the show's Instagram page.*

We learn a little about Punisher's origins and why he tends to appeal to cops, soldiers, and white nationalists. We cover everything from how the creator's feel about the Punisher's relationships with these communities to how Bulletproof Warrior Training has primed the police to feel under attack, all while laughing and learning about why making a comic where Frank turns black might be a supremely bad idea.
