Comics Place presents... (formerly Perfectly Acceptable Podcast by Comics Place)

Woof! Django and Jeff just got back from North Carolina! Where they attended a convention for comic shop owners, so they regale us with stories and jokes that prove just how far their heads are up their own asses. But we also talk about the books we all managed to read this week, some serious and some not so serious. American Carnage #4, Black Badge #7, Sharkey the Bounty Hunter #1, High Level #1, & Naomi #2. Also… other! Time is short this week so we get in and we get out quick. See you all in a few days!

This one gets a little blue, folks. But between moments of blue humor (or, “bloomer”, if you will) you get very insightful moments of a sort of soft “cyan/grey”. It’s been another long week with the comics arriving 2 days late. But we did it! And Roman, Justin, Django, & Jeff are here to talk this weeks comics, including Mark Russell’s new Wonder Twins #1, Gunning For Hits #2, The Magic Order #6, Criminal #2 & The Outer Darkness #4.

Listen up, True Believers. Theres no tragedy that can befall us that would stand in the way of our love for talking about comics. Jeff, Django, and Roman do just that… but it won’t take long for you to realize the tough spot Jeff found himself in today, and still he perseveres! Anyway, Daredevil #1, Female Furies #1, Old Man Quill #1, The Girl in the Bay #1, Red Sonja #1, & Uncanny X-men #11. Thats a lot of 1’s….. Except for a BIG #2.

Hey Everybody! We finally did it. Here is the special experimental podcast we recorded while organizing this years Customer Appreciation Party!! We wanted everybody to have a little inside look at what it’s like to work at the shop. And yes…. we really do like each other this much.

Aw folks, this is a special one! Just Roman and Jeff sit down to talk about the week’s comics, do a little reminiscing, and give you a taste of what the shop used to feel like all those years ago. This week we’ve got Unstoppable Wasp #4, Ice Cream Man #9, Action Comics #1007, Exiles #12, and many more. I recommend pairing this episode with a nice safe place alone, a an extra warm cup of hot chocolate.
