  • C'nP Taxes, Price Gouging and Amendments

It has taken me awhile to get this one uploaded.  Audio issues and I'm still not sure I like the sound.  In this Pod I discuss the Gov Parson Tax Law and I veer off into the world of China owning our farmlands and meat processing centers leading to Price Gouging of Americans regarding Meat.  I felt like it was important to include the China issue because the Missouri Republicans who along with Gov Parson championed this bill/law all the while agreeing to leave foreign owners of Missouri farms and Meat Processing Centers in the law, allowing foreign companies to receive Missouri Tax benefits at the expense of Missouri Taxpayers. And I discuss the Amendments on the Nov. 8th election ballot, complete with my opinions.

Information sources for this episode include:

Springfield News-Leader with reporter Galen Bacharier articles

  • CnP Taxes, Voting and Amendments

It's taken me a bit to get this edited and uploaded.  I am sure I missed a few areas needing edits, but it is what it is.  I have been writing Postcards for candidates while trying to stay caught up on the farm, the job and the podcast.   Today I talk about the new Missouri Taxes, touch on the new Voting Laws and review the Amendments that are on the Ballot in November.   Early, NO EXCUSE voting is open from Oct. 25 through Nov. 7 at you County Clerk Office.  I took advantage of this myself and voted Oct. 25th, easy peasy, just bring your non expired Gov issued ID, your voter's card and go vote, then you can just check that issue off your things to do and avoid waiting in line with the crowds!

Vote411.org has a lot of ballot info for your area on their website, it's great to be informed.

    GO VOTE.

  • Ginger Witty Mo Ho Dist. 156

I met with Ginger recently to get an update on her campaign for Missouri House District 156.  We discussed local issues as well as what she has been doing lately with her campaign. Ginger's opponent, the incumbent Brian Seitz, Co-sponsored two devastating Bills in Missouri which are now Missouri Law.

    1. The Abortion trigger ban that included no exceptions for ectopic pregnancies, which gave us national attention and Brian had to be schooled on what ectopic pregnancies are.  This was amended out of the bill.

    2. The school voucher program for Missouri students who live in cities with a population of 30,000 or more.  Branson has a population of 12,883 and a poverty level of 22.3%, according to the census. Hollister, another District 156 town has a population of 4,564 and a poverty level of 11.8% (2021 census).  I am not sure why Mr. Seitz would co-sponsor and education bill that would take more money away from District 156 school budgets and yet none of the children in District 156 qualify for the private schools.

With the General Election mere weeks away Ginger Witty can always use your assistance to win this election.  Please reach out to Ginger, to see how you can assist her.

  • C'P Ginger Witty MoHo 156

I met up with Ginger for a campaign update and we discussed the local issues as well as what she has been doing on her campaign...  With my apologies, I picked up a rsv from a co-worker whose grandson came down with it.  So, it took me a bit to get this edited and uploaded.

We are nearing the General Election. I have recruited half a dozen volunteers, as well as myself, to write address and stamp over 2k postcards..... so I apologize that I am late in uploading this very important pod discussion with Ginger, MoHo 156.

Its just too easy to do an internet search on Ginger Witty.... Maybe you don't line in MoHo 156, but you vaca there and know folks who do live there.... Her opponent could not wait to co sponsor the bill to restrict women's health care...... forcing children as young as 10 years old to carry and attempt to give birth to a fetus that she was raped and forced to carry.

DID YOU KNOW, THAT A CHILDS BRAIN DOES NOT MATURE UNTIL THE CHILD/PERSON IS 25 YEARS OLD?

Her opponent co sponsored a bill to allow towns with a population of 30k people to get a tax deduction to send their child to a private/charter/religious school and YOU DO NOT GET THAT TAX DEDUCTION?

  • Ginger Witty MOHO 156 - The Golden Rule

Don't let this petite retired teacher fool you, she has worked across the aisle with school students and has the knowledge to know how to work across the aisle in Jefferson City.  Missouri has been losing the progressive, let's go forward and build a better state! Our state has been losing sane, progressive representatives and senators since 1992!  For 30 years, Forward thinking, progressive seeking Democrats have been silently losing legislative seats and now, here we are.... Losing Women's right to private health care, men can still enjoy theirs.  Losing funding for public schools so that even the MOST Rural, low populated towns in Missouri will pay taxes so that the elite can attend private and charter schools...  Ginger wants to fight to stop those destructive laws and create laws to move us forward.  Reach out to Ginger, send her a $5, $2 $1... Help Ginger change the negative course that her opponent has put Missouri on.  Connect with Ginger at:
