  • The Virtual Reaching Home Awards Celebration Wednesday, June 16th, 2021
Kiley Gosselin, executive Director for Partnership for Strong Communities
The Virtual Reaching Home Awards Celebration
    Wednesday, June 16th, 2021
From 3:30 Pm To 5:00 Pm

Each year, Partnership for Strong Communities (PSC) invites people to come together to celebrate, and to present the prestigious Reaching Home Awards (RHA). The awards are presented to individuals and groups that have demonstrated exceptional commitment to preventing and ending homelessness in Connecticut.
We'll join together over Zoom with distinguished awardees to celebrate their accomplishments and the work of so many to prevent and end homelessness in Connecticut.
Although we are still unable able to come together in person, we remain united. Now more than ever, we are committed to the vision that no one should experience homelessness; that everyone should have a safe, stable place to call home. We know now from experience that neither pandemic nor distance are strong enough to separate us. We are stronger together, for that we truly have reason to celebrate.
We are so looking forward to gathering virtually to celebrate together with our partners, speakers, award recipients, sponsors, friends, and family.

We're looking forward to seeing you on the 16th!

Cash Back to the Community Program
•Program is addition to our typical monetary donations and sponsorships and helps get the community and members involved. Was also a nice way to uncover new or smaller organizations in need of support.

•The program is funded by the interchange income – 1% of our Visa credit and debit card interchange income is divided evenly among the three nonprofit/501(c)(3) organizations each quarter. The premise being, “the more members use our card(s), the more we give back.”
oEvery time you use your American Eagle debit or credit card, they give to a worthy organization in your community – one that you and other members choose. It’s cash back with impact.

•Winners are determined by majority of votes. Anyone can submit a nomination and vote.

•Organizations supported thus far are: children, families, seniors, art, nature, animals, whatever is important to you – putting cash where it belongs
