For this broadcast we have chosen a topic - New Routines. It is related to our current reality, the new dynamics of our everyday life. We have asked several people from different parts of the world, who are in quarantine or in self-isolation to send us sound recordings reflecting their new-life dynamics, to document situations that appear in their lives. In the new channeling of Duende, Irakli Qolbaia will be joined by Alex Chigvinadze and together they will read two excerpts from Alex's play, "The Earth Claims Its Own". This work presents a poetic synthesis of Georgian fairy tales and the current reality in Georgia. As the author points out from the beginning: "the role players are changeable and take the meaning of one as well as many characters." Thus, the text is perfectly flexible for multiple and diverse interpretations; we believe it will be perfectly applicable for the radio format as well.

Community Radio Tbilisi is broadcasting again! This time with a collage about a space. A space that can be define by dimensions of height, depth, and width within which all things exist and move. Since the most of us are lockdown at home, our living space has become very much devide into Here (In) and There (Out), defined by a distance between one person to others.

A lot of love, energy and luck to those who are out there, without possibilities to come in!

As part of Community Radio Tbilisi, architect and educator Jesse Vogler leads the series about Cultural Landscapes and Building Cultures of the Caucasus - in which he discusses urban, architectural, and landscape histories of Georgia and beyond.

In Episode Four, we are joined by Ruben Arevhshatyan—artist, critic, historian, and curator of The City of Tomorrow: Soviet Architecture and Urban Planning Between Center and Periphery. We will discuss the robust development of a distinct Armenian modernism during the soviet period, as well as urban transformations of the city of Yerevan in the changing post-socialist contexts.

Second part:

Ror-bu is performance of Veronika Svobodová, whose approach to work with sound unmistakably reveals the links to theater scenography, art of installation and performance. In her work she connects space, time, and situations. What is important is not the sound itself but also the way it is created on the scene. Often, it is a direct response to specific locations in the landscape or architectural spaces.

The performance is inspired by the sonic experience of the artist's stay in an old fishing house named Kråkeslottet (ie a raven castle) that is located at the very end of the coast of the Norwegian island of Senja beyond the Arctic Circle. It is a traditional type of fishing house that has been used for fish processing for many years.

Ana Park is located in Varketili district of Tbilisi and is named after a 9-year-old tragically dead child who lived in the neighborhood. The small park in between of the high-rise residential buildings is the only recreational place for residents. However, a construction company plans to build a 10-storey building just at the park thus putting it under threat of disappearance. Local people being the part of the Ana Park community together with green activists have been struggling to save the park for years.

In the new Duende we shall present three poets from three different eras and languages: a prose poem by the French cubist and avant-garde poet, Pierre Reverdy; a poem by the central figure of the New York School, Frank O'Hara and a poem by the outstanding Georgian experimental poet from the 80-90s, Karlo Kacharava. All poems will be read in Georgian and in English. Duende will also feature a special guest, young poet Zura Neparidze, who will present Karlo Kacharava's work and briefly talk about Kacharava's importance in his own work

We talked to the organizer of WET, musician Alexandra Zakharenko, poet Claire Morse and artist Felix Kalmenson. We listened to the poetic/sound works that hey have performed at the event.

„დუენდე“ თბილისის სათემო რადიოსთვის შექმნილი ყოველკვირეული აუდიო პროექტია, რომელიც რადიო ფორმატს პოეზიის უძველესი ფორმის, ზეპირსიტყვიერების თანამედროვე ფორმად მოიაზრებს. დუენდე ამ ფორმით მოგიტანთ ახალ ამბებს პოეზიის სამყაროდან. პოეზიის სამყაროში ახალი ამბები არ ნიშნავს სიახლეებს. „პოეზია არის ახალი ამბები, რომლებიც ახალ ამბებად რჩება“ - თქვა ეზრა პაუნდმა. „დუენდეს“ ამოცანა პოეტურ ხმათა და მიმართებათა სიმრავლეების ერთიან აუდიო ტექსტურაში მოქცევაა. როგორც ჟან კოკტოს მიერ წარმოდგენილი „ორფეოსი,“ პოეტური აქტი მართლაც ჰგავს რადიოს საშუალებით სხვა სამყაროდან გზავნილების მიღებას. ეს მეტაფორა ცენტრალურია ჩვენი გადაცემის კონტექსტში. პოეზიის მეტყველი პირით მსმენელი ყურისთვის გაზიარების აქტის მნიშვნელობას კარგად გამოხატავს ამერიკელი პოეტის, კლარკ ქულიჯის სიტყვები: სიტყვებს აქვთ თვისებათა სამყარო, რომელიც არ ემთხვევა აღწერით მიმართებათა თვისებებს. ესენია: სიმყარე, სიმკვრივე,ხმოვანი მოცულობა, ვექტორული ძალა, და გამჭვირვალობა/გაუმჭვირვალობის ხარისხები.

გადაცემის სათაური ლორკას საეტაპო ლექციიდან არის აღებული. სწორედ ლორკას ეკუთვნის ესპანელების ამ ფოლკლორული ფიგურის, მიწის ზღაპრული სულის პოეტურ აქტთან დაკავშირება. პოეტი ებრძვის დუენდეს, და არა ანგელოზს, ან მუზას. მისივე განმარტებით, დუენდე ის იდუმალი ძალაა, რომელსაც ყველა განიცდის, მაგრამ ვერცერთი ფილოსოფოსი ვერ ახსნის. სწორედ ესაა პოეზიის ტერიტორია. „დუენდეს მოსვლა მუდამ ფორმების რადიკალურ ცვლილებას აღნიშნავს.“
