The Competition Commission has published new guidelines to protect consumers and give them more choices when purchasing vehicles and associated vehicle maintenance offers. The guidelines state that a consumer has the right to get their vehicle serviced by an independent service provider of their choice, even if the vehicle is still under warranty.
