Born in Innsbruck in 1963, Austrian composer Thomas Larcher is a leading voice in contemporary classical music. Since becoming one of the first composers to grace Wigmore Hall’s ongoing series of commissions in 2007, he has beguiled audiences with some of the finest works of contemporary chamber music and song. His residency at the Hall promises to show why his music has been described by The Times as ‘one of this century’s wonders’.
