Violent crime on Table Mountain is on the increase. This is according to volunteer groups or concerned mountain users. They have now  launched a petition calling on SANParks to tackle crime and the deterioration of conditions on the mountain. Meanwhile,  South African National Parks (SANParks) has denied that  there is an increase in crime on the mountain and says the numbers are stable.
