Confessed Obsessed

A simple farm family would unfortunately sign their death certificate when they would bring on a farm hand that spoke no English. Antoine would move to the United States in hope to get a better start, but instead of making riches, he made himself a murder.

Creepy things happen to everyone, and most of the time they can be explained. But how do you explain a humanoid thing crossing the street that you made long term eye contact with. That's something our listener has experienced. This is the perfect time to share with you the story of her Canyon Drive. Welcome to episode six of Fright Fest. 

Losing a loved one is hard enough, but I cannot imagine how hard it would be to lose everything about them. Families tried to follow through with their loved ones' wishes and donate the bodies of their loved ones to science, only being able to take a small amount of ash home because that is what they wanted. But when the FBI came knocking on their doors they realized the bodies did not go where they were promised, and the ashes they had were likely not even their loved ones. 

If we transport ourselves back to when I was a child we would find ourselves on the tramp late at night, cold wind blowing through our blankets as we sat in a circle and talked under the moon. We would be telling ghost stories and sharing creepy encounters that we had had. Scaring ourselves so much we would almost decide to sleep inside, only then would I decide to share the story of the cursed doll. A story passed down from my brother, and creepy enough to make our skin crawl so bad we would pack our stuff up inside and sleep in the living room. Welcome to Episode four, of Fright Fest.

Disclaimer- I say Episode three in the intro, but this is actually episode four, I apologize for the confusion. 

Being part of the LGBTQ community is becoming more and more accepted. But that doesn’t mean they still don't have their struggles today. Even though today it is much easier to be open about your sexuality, it was not like that in 1998. Matthew Shepard was an openly gay young man, one that his family supported and loved. But not everyone agreed with that. Two men would end up ending the life of Matthew Shepard and the reason as to why that was is still not been   confirmed, could it have been a robbery gone horribly wrong, or was Matthew Shepard murdered, all because he was gay.  

Every mother makes mistakes, some bigger than others, the story of La Llorna is a little different. Most mothers' mistakes are not changing their child soon enough and them having a blow out, or yell at a child who meant no harm. But La Llorna decided to drown her children. To murder her children in a blind rage only to then be consumed by a guilt that would force her into water, but instead of joining her children in the afterlife, La Llorna is doomed to forever search for their lost souls. 

The butterfly effect is when a small decision can drastically change the outcome of your life. In this creepy pasta we cover a story that is the perfect example of the butterfly effect. A boy turns to the internet to share an insane story that he experienced, and it all could have been changed, if he was never part of the balloon project. -Ft. Rae 

It was a normal practice for men and women to walk alone at night all the way to the early mornings in and out of the campus of the university of Vermont. But all of that would change one day when a 21 year old woman who had walked alone before would go missing. Only to be found days later murdered and sexually assaulted. An unknown sickness began to infect people. They would show up with black dots all over them that would fester and evenly kill them. This sickness couldn't be stopped, and it wasn't slowing down. Spreading through town after town, killing anywhere between 30- 60% of all Europeans. Then it just disappeared. Nobody knows where it went, or if the Black Death will ever strike again. 

People taking out life insurance policies on others then turning around and murdering them for the money is something we see more then we’d like to. Most of the stories we hear about though are things staged as accidents, like someone falling off a cliff, or someone committing suicide. But that's not the story of Michael Malloy. Michael would be targeted and thrown one thing after another that should have killed him fairly quickly, but instead he would gain the nickname, Iron Mike.
