Confident, Energized and Sexy Mama Show - Health & Mindset Coaching, Cycle Syncing, Flow Living for Working Moms episodes

  • On Air Coaching: When Overgiving Sucks The Joy, Happiness and Health Out Of You With Jessica
Today on the show you will meet Jessica who is a wife and mama of three children. Jessica sought my help because she feels like she's struggling with managing her reactions to the kids and her husband and just in general not feeling supported or acknowledged by her family. As you will hear on the call, Jessica is very self-aware and understands that the source of this feeling is not prioritizing herself regularly and as the call progresses you will hear how together we make the connection between her health and menstrual cycle to why she feels the way she does.
As you listen, consider these questions:
Do you also feel like you have difficulty managing your reactions to your kids and their behaviors
Do you feel low on energy and your mood during certain times of the month is not how you'd like it to be.
Do you also feel like you'd like to be a nice and sweet mom but all you are preoccupied with is the logistics of how to make your house run smoother, kids to listen and comply with what you ask them to do, and just to have a sense that your house is a home and everyone who lives in it (including you) is enjoying the comfort and the good and positive atmosphere of it?
Do you feel like motherhood and raising a family is a job or duty and as a result, you tend to not prioritize connection with your husband?
Do you also feel like after having kids you and your partner are like "two passing ships" or roommates?
Do you also crave to feel more joy in your life?
    Enjoy listening!!
Sending you much love & healing,

  • On Air Coaching: Mother-Daughter Healing With Stephanie (ep-90)
On today's On-Air Coaching call you'll meet Stephanie who feels like she is in between two important people in her life (her mom and her daughter) but she doesn't know how to navigate this struggle and how to show up as the mother she wants to be and guide her daughter through her challenges as a 10-year-old.
This was such an important coaching session as I know many of you are struggling with something similar so I hope this conversation will give you a lot of clarity and clues as to where to start to remedy this.
As you listen, consider these questions:
Do you feel like you are caught in between your daughter and your mother where your daughter is struggling with finding her voice and your mom is not familiar with personal development work? Like Stephanie said she feels like there's "a mess above me and a mess below me and I don't know how to position myself in this", in other words, she doesn't know how to play this role in a constructive way that doesn't bog her down and suck the life out of her.
You don't know how you can best guide your daughter?
You are coming from a home where there was a lot of co-dependency and enmeshment?
Growing up were you also not allowed to have feelings? Were you always shut down, yelled at, told that you were overly dramatic and to stop exaggerating and simply to be quiet and not interrupt?
Do you feel like this made you disconnected from yourself? Or from who you thought you were?
Are you driven for success, achievement, having more, doing more and feel like you're not praised and appreciated by your external world?
Growing up how did you learn to soothe your emotional pain?
Are you also into personal growth and do "all the things" right, but still feel like you don't know how to take care of yourself?
Keep all these questions in mind as you listen to my conversation with Stephanie.
I'm accepting applications for the Health Begins With Mom Mastery Program, to apply head on over to www.healthbeginswithmom.com/apply

  • On Air Coaching - When Breastfeeding Competes With Your Business With Melissa (ep-89)
    Welcome to the show!
If you're new to me and to this show, this is where we talk about the intersection between your health as a woman & female, your sacred work in your home and with your family, as a wife and mother and how to tap into your life's work as a healer & creative using your divine feminine superpowers.
Today's on-air coaching call is actually one I wasn't even sure I want to share with the world because the topic is extremely touchy and sensitive in the life of a mother and you'll see, my advice for Melissa at the end is one you don't expect to hear from someone who advocates health.
Some of you know that I am a retired pediatric nutritionist and feeding children is something near and dear to my heart, so I had to sit a lot of time with the decision whether I should air it or not. I decided to air it because I am here to serve you and if there is one mama who's struggling with this I am sure there are many more out there who can resonate, so I had to remind myself that this is not about me and that playing small or "hiding" is not helpful to anyone.
Today you will meet Melissa who is a wife and mama of four boys under the age of 3 and her struggle with breastfeeding. Melissa is a photographer and loves her job and motherhood is something she is still learning to navigate and grow from.
    Enjoy listening!!

  • On Air Coaching - How To Feel More Connected To Husband With Wendy (ep-88)
Welcome to the show and happy new year! 2019 here we go!
I am excited to bring to you a brand new segment to the show called On-Air-Coaching, which are basically pre-recorded coaching calls I've recently had with women. Every woman you'll meet is struggling with different things and that is intentional, I want you to see that although the challenges are different the solution or the "way out" is the same - practicing embodiment, radical self-care and choosing yourself first, always.
In today's call, you will meet Wendy, a young wife and mom of three children.
Wendy called me because she's struggling to feel connected to her husband (that's what she thinks she's struggling with). You'll see, as the call evolves, that she will connect to the real reason she doesn't feel connected to him, among other things she discovers about herself.
Make sure to stick around till the end as I will be sharing assignments, takeaways and tangible advice you can apply in your own life.
Here's to a healthy, productive and fun 2019!
    Enjoy listening!!
    XOXO,
    Dorit

  • “Winter break is so hard!! I don’t like having my kids around all the time!” (ep-88)
Today on the show I share some of my deepest and creepiest thoughts that arise when I have my kids around 24/7 for two weeks!
We’re in the midst of winter break and I just wanted you to know that you are not alone feeling like a bad mom who is not nice to her little cheeks.
Having said that, this is not about complaining or venting to you. This is more about learning how to regulate your own emotions, how to fill up your own cup and how to take care of yourself first.
You know my motto: choose yourself first, always!
Today on the show I give you 11 tips on how to do just that.
Hope you find this useful and if you do please share this episode with a mother who needs to hear this today.
It takes a village to raise a child.
It also takes a village to raise a mother.
Sending you much love and healing and if I don’t get to talk to you until New Years - Happy New Year!! 2019 is your year!

  • How To Feel Amazing Naked with Amanda Walker (ep -87)
Today on the show I am chatting with Amanda Walker who is a health lifestyle coach and she empowers women to feel amazing naked. She is the creator of the Feel Amazing Naked Program and the Feel Amazing Naked Podcast and the blogger and mastermind behind, awalkmyway.com.  Amanda’s mission is to help women create the life they want to live in body, mind, and soul.
Amanda uses a “WHOLE”istic approach to coaching and blends strategy, skill and mindset to help clients unearth the root causes of their struggles with food, body, and mind to help them lead their best life possible.  She is passionate about pushing clients to create more time in their life for healthy living and giving them tools to get out of their own way to overcome their limiting beliefs.

    Here's a brief of what we've covered:

Amanda's story and how she emerged/healed from body image issues and fight with food
At which point does being fit, athletic or "exercising it out" become harmful as opposed to coming from a place of self-care.
Why so many people don't feel good in their bodies
Why is it crucial to develop confidence and feeling connected to oneself?
What makes you feel amazing naked?
As well as Amanda's deepest, most vulnerable feelings, struggles, and beliefs about how to feel embodied and successful as a woman, wife, and mothers.

You're in for a treat! I can't wait for you to hear Amanda and her perception of what it took her to feel good about herself and embody self-love and self-acceptance.

  • Thank You, Rachel & David Hollis, But 'No Thank You' (ep-86)
Today on the show I am sharing how I processed a recent incident of feeling jealous in my life. So this is going to sound like a bit of a rant mixed with some empowering content and of course, as always, actionable tasks for you at the end!
The point of this episode is to show you that you are not alone in feeling jealous of something someone else has and there's nothing shameful about admitting that.
Become aware of it and then take the necessary action to cope with your pain in a mature manner so that you can rise to your full and embodied potential as a woman, wife, and mother.
I am sharing my thought process and the decision I've had to take to unsubscribe from one of my favorite podcasts. I hope you'll take what you've learned here into your life and implement it.
Feeling small, inferior or ashamed is a choice! You don't have to keep bearing it like a cross. Protect yourself and your family from the villains that live in your head and become embodied, empowered and confident!
Sending you much love & healing,
    XOXO,
    Dorit

  • Knowing When To Breathe In And When To Exhale (ep-85)
Today on the show you'll notice my voice is a bit rusty as I got a really bad cold.
I got sick in the worst of times, literally (I'm sure you can relate as there's always so much to do before the end of the year right?).
But if you've been following my work for a while you know that I don't believe that there's such a  thing as "the worst of times."
Who decides that this time is the worst?
Could it be that I interpret it as bad?
Can it be that I am the one choosing the lens from which to look at my circumstances?
    Absolutely!
Today on the show I talk about being deliberate about the moments we choose to focus on because, guess what, this is something we can control!
So next time your house is a mess, there're dishes all over the kitchen counter, the laundry basket is overflowing, your toddler pooped and needs to be changed, your older kids haven't even gotten to their homework, everyone is screaming and it is a complete chaos remember that this too is just a moment.
In the midst of chaos live beautiful moments too.
The tenderness, love, laughter, cuddling, tiny feet, naked bums, and pure simple joy.
All of this is encompassed in this one moment, you are the one deciding what is to be highlighted and what to be dimmed.
    It all begins with you.
"While in the pursuit of happiness one should stop and just be happy"
I hope you enjoy this week's episode, and if you did please share it with other moms who need to hear this.
Sending you much love & healing!!

  • Women Who Run With The Wolves (ep-83)
    Hey Divas,
Today on the podcast we are talking about the wild woman archetype and what it means to be a Wild Woman?
I keep hearing experts, healers, coaches, podcasters use the term 'wild woman' and honestly, I never fully understood what they mean.
Wild - meaning crazy, out of control, insane, sent loose?
    Not really.
Today on the show I will share a great book that illuminated my understanding of what it means to live your life to the wildest and how this very archetype is behind the health of our families, communities and the world at large.
It all begins with you claiming your power, your fire, your belief in yourself, courageously, unashamedly, unapologetically paving the way to live your most authentic self.
If you're into poetry, storytelling, myths, fairy tales and other forms of sharing ideas and complex psychological theories, this episode is for you!
Do you love reading? I'd love to know what you've been reading lately, please share below :)
    Enjoy listening!!
    XOXO,
    Dorit
p.s. Today on the podcast I also share a new and exciting segment that is coming up on the show! I will be doing On-Air-Coaching Calls which are pre-recorded coaching calls with listeners of the show! This is your opportunity to be coached for free on my show (anonymously of course).
