The U.S. House has passed a bill to make registration for the Selective Service automatic rather than the voluntary system that has served us for generations. Why now? Does this signal a re-start of the draft for GenZ? The last draft was for Vietnam. Euro wars are much bigger, with fossil-fueled war machines on both sides. Gen Z, their parents, and anyone else who cares about them should keep their eyes on this one. Would the president sign this bill into law?
