What does it really mean to feel connected to yourself and the world around you?
Today, Sarah sits down with CARE (they/them) an abolitionist somatic practitioner, educator, writer, and doula for a wide-ranging conversation on trauma, spirituality, intimacy, accountability, and the wisdom of the body.
Together, they explore what it means to practice abolition in our most intimate relationships, how trauma lives between us, and why healing cannot happen in isolation.
This episode is for anyone navigating conflict, longing for deeper connection, curious about somatics, or seeking new ways to think about healing, accountability, liberation, and embodiment.
On this episode of Moonbeaming you’ll hear:
CARE (they/them)
is a light-skinned Black trans non-binary abolitionist somatic practitioner and educator, writer & doula who works on remembering embodied experiences of awe, connection, miracles & care. Their work blooms at the intersection of Black interiority, somatic memory, and queer intimacies. They are the creator of Liberation Practice Field, the first year-long communal program that explores the somatics of abolition and the Erotics of Liberation in which all teachers are Black and Brown (and a most of them queer and trans!) as well as The Ancestral Healing Tarot Deck. They write at the intersection of abolition, intimacy and conflict.
