This week on the podcast, Steve Plater and Chris Pritchard are joined by a man who not only races on the Isle of Man but was born and raised there, Conor Cummins.
Conor joins the duo to talk about his racing career including why rolling up to the startline for the Mountain Course is unlike anywhere else in the world, he also speaks about one particular TT start involving a false red flag that almost caught him out.
Addressing one of the biggest moments of his career, Conor reflects on his crash at the 2010 TT and what he thinks happened to send him off at The Verandah. The trio also discussed the rehab that comes from a crash like that and the racer’s decision to get back on a bike only 9 months later.
The Manxman also looks back at the beginning of his racing career including why he didn’t end up pursuing a life on the track and the controversial reactions to his first TT fortnight at the age of 20.
