This week we make a return to stately Laceby Manor as former Grand Prix racer and Senior TT winner Roger Burnett joins us to discuss the world of rider management. Rog guided both James Toseland and Neil Hodgson to WorldSBK success and a helping hand with a host of riders through the years. These days Rog puts all his attention into Ryan Vickers and was instrumental in the deal that has taken Ryan to Motocorsa Ducati and his own fledgling career in WorldSBK.

After their well-received Off Track debut back in March, Jordan and Frank make their return to the show after successfully completing their maiden full British Superbike Championship season with their rider Glenn Irwin. Bringing home 8 wins, a 2nd and a 3rd and not forgetting that historic week on the North Coast of Northern Ireland where the team collected another three wins and Glenn made history as the most successful superbike rider around the NW200 course, it was an incredible first year for the pair.

As we’ve discussed many times on the show, commentary is THE most divisive subject among race fans. We all have our favourites, many yearn for the old days, and make no mistake it’s not a job I fancy as my skin is nowhere near thick enough! Thankfully my guest this week is the one of the most recognisable and best loved voices in motorcycle racing over the last 20 years and more. 

From WorldSBK to MotoGP, and forming iconic commentary partnerships with Keith Huewen and Toby Moody along the way, this fine man was the mainstay of World level motorcycle racing as co-commentator to some of the defining moments in our sports history and it was a real pleasure to sit alongside him and listen to his stories.

My guest this week is the Bennetts British Superbike Champion of 2022 – after lifting the title with OMG Racing my guest switched attention to the WorldSBK championship for '23 and '24 and while the results weren’t as many of us and Brad had hoped he makes his return to the Bennetts British Superbike championship a faster more complete rider and one that’s hungry to retain his title with his old team of OMG Racing

From winning the Superstock title last season then being stripped of it almost immediately, to the planets aligning for the opportunity of a lifetime to contest the Endurance World Championship with one of the most recognised teams in the championship was a chance he seized with both hands to become 2024 Endurance World Champion with Yoshimura SERT Suzuki alongside teammates Etienne Masson and Greg Black.  A deserved turnaround in fortune for Dan Linfoot.
