Today's guest is CrossFit Games Athlete, Alex Gazan. Alex is for sure an up and coming star in the CrossFit scene, having almost qualified in the individual division as a teenager in 2021, and following that up making the Games in 2022 at the age of 20. Alex is impressive on the competition floor, but perhaps more impressive is her incredible positive and friendly attitude as well as her balanced approach to life and competition.

Less of a "Round Table" today, and more of "Ted Talk", where coach Jay talks about a common issue that he helps many of his athletes through. Imposter syndrome is more common than many people may think. Jay outlines 9 tactics that he uses to help clients battle through this to come out on top.

On today's episode Jay and Tommie talk their thoughts surrounding the CrossFit Semi-Finals workouts. What they liked, what they didn't like, and everything in between. Give it a listen, and see if you agree with them or not.

One of the most challenging and nuanced things a coach has to do with an athlete is "peak" them for their event, or multiple events within the same season. The two weeks leading up to the event in question, needs to be navigated intelligently, and perhaps slightly differently depending on the athlete and what else they have coming up on their schedule.
Coach Jay and Coach Tommie discuss these questions in depth and give a clear approach to how to address them.

Amy and Stu are two incredible athletes. They have both recently punched their respective tickets to the CrossFit Games as masters athletes. Amy took 2nd place in the Open within the 35-39 year old age group, and Stu outright won the Open within the 60-64 year old age group.
The most impressive thing about these two is that they are not one dimensional. They both have very full schedules, and yet continue to find the time to train as elite athletes, making it to the absolute pinnacle of their sport. We know that you will enjoy this one!

On today's episode, coach Tommie talks about something that all coaches will likely have to deal with at one point or another. A difficult client. This can be a challenge to handle properly. Coach Tommie gives his take on what some acceptable options would be when faced with such a situation. Enjoy!

Todays guest is Conquer Athlete: Tyler Cooke. Tyler is not only a phenomenal athlete, but he also runs a successful real estate business, is a husband and father of two young children, and is an amazing coach in his own right. Because of this, a large portion of the show revolves around finding balance in life and how to navigate around the things that you can and can not control. This is a good one, and we think that you will agree.

Aurora is a college professor, CrossFit coach, AND athlete who we could all learn a thing or two from when it comes to time management and achieving goals.
