Constellation: Last Stand Media's Conversational Podcast

Behold another episode of Constellation! This week, Colin welcomes Lockmort, Brad, and Hoeg to the show for a rousing conversation about a trio of topics. For instance: What would life have been like if we were born somewhere else? What could have we achieved, or how far could we have fallen? Also: What are some genre 'disconnects' we've experienced? In other words, what kind of media have we consumed about a topic, or set in a time, or about something we'd otherwise have no interest in? In addition: Are fireworks still a fun diversion and way to celebrate? Or is it all feeling just a little bit old at this point?

Welcome back to Constellation, Last Stand Media's conversational podcast. This week, Colin hosts, and is joined by the Dukes -- Matty and Cog -- as well as Punching Up's Gene Park. Topics include the trials and tribulations of turning 30 years old, dueling documentaries covering 2023's tragic Titan/Titanic situation, and whether it's 'okay' to play games on the easiest difficulty. Enjoy!

Welcome back to Constellation! It's true, I'm not Dagan (Dustin here), so I don't have a poem, gimmick, or some sneaky way to not really write a description. A normal ass description will have to do this week. With that said, we had a great show with a one-of-a-kind lineup! Jaffe asks about summer movies we're excited for. Chris wonders how we organize (or lack thereof). Finally, I have been reflecting on the work of Hideo Kojima with the imminent release of Death Stranding 2, and wondered how the crew felt about his games, and the idea of the auteur game director.

Please enjoy!

Constellation returns! Below is the original description Dagan sent me for the show, but to be honest, it feels a little too bold to leave on its own and I (Dustin) am worried people are going to think their phone or computers are going insane. To respect the artistic vision, I'll leave it, but know that this episode features Dagan, Cog, Gene, and Jaffe. Enjoy!

Podcasting is a little like cooking. No matter how many times you prepare your favorite dish, it always turns out just a little bit different. Sometimes, everything comes together perfectly and the meal absolutely sings. There's no real explanation for it, just a combination of recipe, ingredients, experience and technique all somehow harmonizing seamlessly. Beyond effort, intention or skill. Magic, really. Today's show hits like that for me. Probably my favorite episode of the year so far. Brad and the three LSM Moriartys gather around the family table and proceed to chop it up (cooking pun intended) with fun topics and heaping helpings of silliness. I think there's plenty to savor on today's menu. Absolutely delicious, if I do say so. Enjoy!
